Ueno a fait ses débuts à la télévision en 2002 à l’âge de 16 ans dans "Seizon" mais elle a fait une plus grosse apparition dans "Chirosoku no Natsu" en 2003. En 2004, elle joue dans "Orange Days" puis "Engine". Mais sa popularité explose lorsqu’elle joue Nodame dans le Drama "Nodame Cantabile". En 2008, elle joue dans "Last Friends" au côté de Eita.

Cette actrice est géniale ! Je l’ai totalement adoré dans le rôle de Nodame mais encore plus dans Last friends ! Elle est excellente dans ses rôles ! Et elle donne de la vie dans ses personnages qui fait qu’on ne peut que s’attacher à eux !
